5 Ways To Make Your Bathroom Unique

An inspiration for this blog came from Pinterest, obviously.
I truly do not understand how people go throughout their life without the guidance of Pinterest. I am in the middle of renovating my apartment with my wonderful, understanding boyfriend. The word understanding should be in all caps. I change my mind a lot and usually am specific about the decor of the house. He, however, goes with the flow and I couldn’t be happier.
After completing the renovation with our bedroom which you can find HERE, (it is posted on my other blog THE MESS THAT MATTERS); I took a hard look at a place where some people might spend a lot of time in, the bathroom. This is the place where you spend on average of almost 92 days over a lifetime in.  It certainly will depend on what kind of person you are, because if you spend more than an hour in the bathroom this number triples.
I decided to change the look of our bathroom a few weeks ago when Devin and I were shopping at Anthropologie, and came across these cute bunny handles. I normally am very grey and minimal when we pick out design features but Devin was all about them. So, we brought them home and I couldn’t be more in love. It’s such a fun statement piece.
Bunny Ears Handles: $12 each

We also wanted to have some sort of wall art, but couldn’t decide on what we wanted. I then stumbled upon these three beauties. I found them on Rifle Paper Co.

I inherited this mirror from my late grandmother, and it was just tan. So I bought a bottle of black spray paint and went to work.

I personally don’t like wonder where my mascara or eye liner are so I have tray specifically for them.

And finally, from the rabbit hole of Pinterest to my very own bathroom, A bushel of eucalyptus tree branches. I am so excited to have this in my bathroom, not just because I have been dreaming of a lushes bathroom with plants, but because the smell is so calming that I am dreaming of taking a bath as soon as I am done writing this post.
I found these babies at the Farmers Market on Sunset and Vine in Hollywood. They have a farmers market every Sunday.
